Kimberly Hamilton is an award-winning entertainment professional, having scripted just under 350 television episodes over the past nine years. A graduate of Syracuse University, where she earned her degree in Television, Radio and Film Production, Kimberly’s career was launched when she won the Procter & Gamble Productions National Collegiate Soap Opera Writing Contest, which led to administrative and production roles on the CBS Daytime Dramas Guiding Light and As the World Turns, prior to her joining the writing team of Guiding Light at age twenty-five, making her one of the youngest in her field to earn a staff writer position on a Daytime Drama.
Additional credits include the ABC Daytime Drama All My Children and Sports Entertainment programs Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown where Kimberly spent a year on the WWE Creative Team, traveling to all live televised WWE professional wrestling events worldwide to write and produce show segments. Comedic writing achievements include MisGuiding Light, a web series spoofing Guiding Light on which Kimberly served as Co-Creator/Writer, and her selection as one of five applicants invited to participate in The 2012 Nickelodeon Writer’s Script Review, a national search for Comedy and Animation writing talent.
Kimberly is also the multi-nominated recipient of a Daytime Emmy Award and a Writers Guild Award for her work on Guiding Light. She currently resides in Manhattan where she is a freelance writer, certified yoga instructor and active seeker of her next adventure in television.
